Multiple companies, including tankers from Washington and Loudoun Counties responded to a house fire in the 5900 block of Mt. Phillip Road early this morning. The fire broke out about 4:00 a.m. and fire was reported through the roof by the first arriving fire company from Braddock Heights. One occupant was transported to the hospital with burns. The injury was not reported to be life threatening. The Red Cross was on the scene to assist the occupants. The house was a total loss.
