Units from Junior Fire Company were dispatched for a reported vehicle fire at the intersection of North East Street and East Fourth Street. Units arrived, at the corrected location of North East Street and East Sixth Street, to find a single vehicle well involved due to a downed power line. The power company was requested for an expedited response. Prior to the power company securing the power, a second and then a third vehicle had caught fire. The Captain (Malta) from Engine 23 requested a second engine company for assistance. United Fire Company was dispatched to assist on the vehicle(s) fire. Engine 31 secured the water supply at North East Street and East Fifth Street. The power company secured the power at multiple poles allowing the crews to extinguish the fire(s).
